Alice Hughes has a problem.
Everything seems great from the outside: her career is going well and her roommate is (mostly) managing to stay out of trouble. There may even be love just around the corner. The thing is, Alice has just been diagnosed with a brain tumor.
Now she must choose: give up everything in her life and undergo a risky treatment to possibly gain a few more years, or make the most of what she has right now, for what short time she has left.
Alice & the Monster mixes drama, romance and humor as Alice struggles to make this monumental decision amid the reactions her cancer elicits from the people around her.
Production will run from spring through summer 2012, with a tentative release scheduled for later in the year.
